Anyone currently in Charlotte? I was reading the WVU board and they were saying barely any VOL fans were around.

I doubt the paint color of the endzone is on the coaches or players mind. Dang you all need to turn on the Big 10 network. Or ESPN and watch some football. Your going to be so overhyped and disappointed if this game goes south.

My buddy said he’s seen more of their fans so far than ours. Doesn’t mean it will be that way tomorrow. Hopefully.

I'm thinking a lot of our people would travel tomorrow considering it's not as far as it is for most WV fans. Hopefully we out number them.

I'll be in NC but not at the game Thanks to my Wife ...... (Passed up free tickets on the 50....... Deeply hate myself on the inside)

I may be mistaken but I don't remember any neutral site games where we had a checkerboard endzone, besides Battle at Bristol. NC St. 2012, Georgia Tech last year we didnt have checkerboard. Really don't see why this is a big deal.

Tax slayer bowl had checkered end zone.

The 1999 Fiesta Bowl had a checkerboard, but I don't care what the end zone looks like as long as our offense can find it enough times to win the game.

A lot of their fans are from DC area so may have flown in early, east Tennesseans are in driving distance.

If you want a scapegoat, blame someone in the UTAD.
When we agree to neutral site games, it should be in the contract that we will either have checkerboards or the correct Pantone shades of orange and white in our end zone.
Then, someone in the UTAD should be assigned the task to make sure it happens with the stadium crew where we are playing.
It’s not the end of the world. But, it is an avoidable error.

Hopefully we will be in the endzone so much today that we will wear that black off and checkerboard it with our jerseys.

It's Football Time In Tennessee!!!

Anyone with a brain would know to checkerboard the end zone
Can you imagine trying to paint over checkerboards in preparation for next week's game? We should be happy they painted the end zones at all, if I'm not mistaken last year's game had the NFL logo at midfield and blank endzones.
