I don’t think it’s as bad as people are acting. West Virginia’s endzone was also done in black. I do wish they would have completely painted in the orange though, you can see the grass in a couple spots.

Regardless, I could care less about the endzone. I just want a win. Go Vols!

I feel as if im the only one who likes it. I personally think it look pretty good. Way better than when they just write out "TENNESSEE" with just green behind it. I hate the way that looks. The black looks good.

I may be mistaken but I don't remember any neutral site games where we had a checkerboard endzone, besides Battle at Bristol. NC St. 2012, Georgia Tech last year we didnt have checkerboard. Really don't see why this is a big deal.
