Just stop, damn, thats ******** a uga fan would say. Thats why i hate uga fans. Screwed or not we had ample opportunity to win. Stop making excuses. That what uga does

We did and we ran the football into the endzone in overtime, without stopping, without the ball carrier touching the ground, all before the whistle. Yet somehow we didn't get a touchdown for it. We got nothing.

From back in November:

IIRC, the various preseason polls had us between 60th and 90th. To improve to 25th is/would be a real recruiting bullet point.

I'm very pleased with this season as a whole. Plenty to work on, but the journey upward is the best part of the ride!

People say we make excuses blaming refs but this kind of stuff only happens to Tenn on a regular basis. Even Cowherd said it. I'm really starting to believe Tenn is cursed for reporting Bama.

I don't think it's a curse but I believe that there are people in the Birmingham based, SEC office that are doing everything possible to keep TN miserable. When Fulmer helped get Bama in trouble (and rightly so), those red wearing, imbred rednecks decided their life's mission was to pay us back and the ones with any power have been doing just that. There's just no way TN is snake bit to this extent.

The hate between Tennessee and Alabama is real.

*I linked an article from 2004 about the Tide and Fulmer. We had a losing record in 2005, missed the 1st bowl game in Fulmer's tenure, and lost to Vanderbilt. It's been bad ever since.

**I also find it peculiar that every time we have been screwed over by a coach or AD, he's either came from Alabama or has eventually wound up coaching at Alabama. Too many coincidences.

Wasn't a loss. Tennessee won.
No Tennessee didn't win, but it doesn't matter anyway, bowls like the MCB are just exhibition games, they mean nothing.

That's a fact, I read it here.

Nah, come on now. Purdue was getting the ball back. That TD would've only guaranteed a win if we had managed to stop Purdue first. We cannot assume our swiss cheese defense would've stopped them on the following series. We had plenty of opportunities to win that game that had nothing to do with that play. Heupel left points on the field for not taking FG's earlier in the game and he also squandered time at the end of regulation by not calling timeouts! We went into OT with 2 timeouts in our pocket! Who does that??

Nope… ROBBED!
I agree the call was wrong. However, I probably will get chastised for this, but the truth is the truth. I don't like bashing players and I usually don't. Watch this play in its entirely. run it in slow motion if you need to. This play was designed for success and looked good at the start. If our TE would have blocked and not just chip block it would have a totally different ending. That defender should have been moved to the back of the end zone
