After falling behind by four to Belmont, the Tennessee baseball team rallied to within a run with a three-run fifth inning, but the Bruins pulled away with two runs in the ninth to claim a 6-3 triumph on a cold and rainy Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

i've had it. until the vols hire a coach, i'm not bothering with the baseball team. problem is that we don't have an a.d. who has the slightest clue about hiring a head coach.

What else is new?
Any good quotes this time? Or maybe he finally realizes that the game is 9 innings long and leading in the 5th or whatever doesn't mean anything.

This has been borderline hilarious for the last couple of months. I have never seen a team this bad at UT. If Raleigh isn't gone after this then I really don't know what to say.

On a side note....this team has won 23 times this season? I'm shocked.

We now have no shot at having anything other than a losing record. Awesome. Keep up the God-awful work, Raleigh.

Hammy....All I can ask for is consistency in our sports programs.
CTR........We have shown flashes this year....but mostly we played a consistent style of ball.
Hammy....3 year extension!

Okay, I am gonna officially throw my hat in the ring...I feel that I am more qualified than our current coach.
I am the 1st base coach for my son's little league team...I am considered a mover and shaker... Have 4+ yrs experience...can relate to young players.
I am a VFL, am originally from Memphis (can open recruiting there), plus living in Texas I can recruit the players here, heck I can also be the team physician! I can guarantee fewer injuries...will do the same for football and basketball too!
Can bring pro level pitching and batting coaches as part of my staff (current patients) :)

So can anyone at VN get this to the right folks? With the current plight of US healthcare, This is a viable alternative...

When can you start? You have my support to finish the season, while we begin the replacement search.
