This is from KNS....

Gregory P. Isaacs, who was retained today to represent Hughes, said that his client hasn't been interviewed or charged by law enforcement in connection with the fight that sent two people to a hospital, including an off-duty Knoxville police officer.

"Our investigation has revealed that the UT football players did not start the altercation at the establishment," Isaacs said. "Importantly, Montori Hughes was assaulted by an unknown patron for no apparent reason, which was the catalyst of the altercation."

Isaacs said he didn't believe that any criminal charges will be filed against Hughes, 19. He also said that his firm's investigation "revealed there is no surveillance video existing of the events that transpired."

Interesting, I thought I heard there was a video, maybe that was outside the bar.

I read that a few minutes ago. If this is true, it sheds a different light on the subject. Everyone has a right to defend themselves in that case. But the other stuff may take some 'splainin'!

Hmmm. A different take. Let's hope more aCcounts support this theory. We may never know what really happened. Montori likely does tho. I'm gonna see if Cody can have MMustang text him. Maybe Mitch got his number when he visited.

This doesn't exactlly explain all of Myles' actions...but it does put a much better light on everything else...

Has anyone been able to find out what Rogers did to get his charges? Did he just put up a fight when they tried to arrest him?

Vols did not start the fight according to a Vols' attorney.

Its the only info we have at this point. It does make more sense though it its true. 7 SEC athletes on 1 or 2 dudes just hasn't added up to me all day. They had to be provoked pretty intensely. Who knows though?

As i said in the other thread, Liquid courage has gotten a lot of inferior men tails whipped from their temporary state of perceived indestructibility.

I can't wait for the final version of the story. Obviously, this looks incredibly bad for the Vols. But maybe it's true that someone attacked one of them and they stuck together? Bar of Knoxville is a rough place that most people have no business going, especially an off-duty police officer. It will be interesting to see if he was actually trying to break up the fight or if he was an instigator.

Well if this is true then the police have a weak case. I sure do hope it's true and the azz whippin's that were doled out were called for.
