Vols could have won it all!

What I wanna know is...

What if we played more 1-3-1?

I think they needed more cowbell.

Iowa could have won it all, they led the entire game and should have won that game. We made a run and they folded. You can play the what if with any team.

If we could have just talked Lebron into playing college ball.

You know, after watching UConn beat Florida for the second time this year, it is entirely conceivable that if Tennessee had pulled the game out against Michigan, and stayed hot like UConn, a 7 seed, for three more games they had the talent to be national champions. It's a funny game and totally depends on who is lucky and playing well at the end. We could actually have a 7 and an 8 seed playing for the title

Does not matter now.

40 teams are thinking the same thing, but i am with you a big if , but if the call had went our way then history might have change, a lot of the other teams are thinking the same thing, a call here or there.

What if Harrison for KY hadn't nailed a 3 point prayer for 3 consecutive games? KY would have gone home in the Sweet 16. It all comes down to someone stepping up and making a play. KY has guys that do this, we don't.

If the refs just called that foul on Ramar when he was mugged taking the ball to the basket.

The only point I was making was that it would not have been impossible for Tennessee to have been the National Champions especially if they did not have that extra game thrown on them! Right now, it is fact that a 7 seed or an 8 seed will be the 2014 national champion. If the Vols had been seeded where they should have been they would have been a 7 or 8 seed. What some of you fail to realize is I am just saying it would not have been impossible for it to happen! That is quite a bit different from saying it would happen! To make it a little simpler, Kentucky won all five of its games by less than 5 points. Florida won all of its games before yesterday by over 10 points. It all comes down to the bounce of the ball. If it had bounced correctly and luckily for Tennessee, they could have won it all? To show how brilliant the pickers are and how it does depend on the bounce of the ball, only 1100 of 11 million brackets picked the final two. And yes, BTO, a little more 1-3-1 might have been the winning edge! I see Calipari wasn't afraid to use it! :)

I think we could have beaten Michigan but as far as beating the winner of the Louisville vs. Ken Lucky match up, I am not very confident that we could have beaten Louisville or Ken Sucky. But an Elite 8 appearance would have been great!!!!!

What if Lofton had missed any of his clutch 3 pointers? We would have lost a game also.

What if Bradshaw hadn't stole the ball? We likely would have lost the game.

What if Prince had not made the clutch 3 pointer? We would have lost the game.

So, the what if, works both ways.

Last I heard, the S16 was the 'expectation'. It was never mine because there wasn't a soul predicting that at the start of the season and UT never broke the top 25. What was our highest RPI? In the 40's? To make the S16 was overachieving. To win it all would've surpassed the miracle on ice.

Kentucky was not ranked in the top 25 in the final AP poll going into the tournament!

No, but they were #1 going in to the season so 'expectations' were obviously higher for them. Who cares what 'expectations' they had going into the NCAAT? It's every man for himself at that point. My point is, where do you think UT's 'expectations' were from the start?

Not sure what you're point is as I never Said it doesn't work both ways. My point was we got a horrible call in a critical moment vs. Michigan that more than likely kept us out of the Elite 8.
