Uhhh...this is a really heated "discussion." Some folks want to mood alter. For whatever reason. I certainly cannot judge. By the same token, I don't want a loved one killed by a wasted, crazy person. That's why I stay off the streets. It's a paradox that cannot be solved.

That’s why doordash, Uber, and Lyft have done far more to end DUI/DWIs than the government ever could

You aren't looking very hard then. I see babies kids every day that test positive for marijuana from exposure. Some of the most egregious cases of child abuse that I've seen are "just marijuana" users. Just because it is political suicide to publicly push all of the statistics of the effects of marijuana use, doesn't mean they don't exist.

You might want to look into correlation vs causation.

Yep. I don’t drink, smoke or do any drugs of any kind. And I don’t have any respect for someone who does drugs.

I don’t think this is fair.
Some people have medical issue that could be treated legally in some states, but because they live in Tennessee can be arrested.
Is recreational legalization the right move. I’m not sure it is but I think if something is a proven medical remedy it should be available to those who need it regardless of which state they live in.
I’m not a user, but would you lose respect for someone for taking a Tylenol because of a headache? Because that seems a bit harsh to me.
