I can't believe our football program has fallen off so far we have to take moral victories of a former quarterback of UT unseating a former quarterback of UF.

Pitiful.

But your title is Vols beat Gators in Denver.

Last I checked, neither the Vols or Gators have played in a Super Bowl, set NFL records, or signed huge contracts (hope not at least).

Manning in the NFL is better than Tebow in the NFL. Tebow accomplished more in college, though.

Sorry if the title was too complicated for you.
How is it living in a linear world?

Apparently you're new at this.

Gator fans have been telling us for about 15 years how they beat PManning 4 times, and how Tebow beat us 4 times.

Now it's our time to serve up some crow. And it's better served cold.

I think they're still winning there.

IMO, some UT fans have such a desire to beat UF in anything related to football they resort to things such as this.

-------------------------

The Vols are 2-0 vs. the Gators in 2012 and it's just March.

Add in PManning ending Tebow's NFL career and it's 3-0.

If the Gators are going to count, so are we.

NFL MVPs (4)
Super Bowls (1-1)
NFL Passing Records (a Dozen)
Biggest US$ Contract in NFL History (check)
Number of times you cry on Nat'l TV (0)

Manning - 14 Years
Tebow - 1

The Gators have kicked our butts for the last decade. Just accept that. Don't try to find moral victories in things that have relevance in nothing. We know Manning has been more prolific than any Florida QB ever... but he also had a lot less college success than a lot of Florida QBs.

I would take Tebows college career over Mannings. All I care about is winning, and Tebow won 2 Championships. Also, Tebow never lost to TN, and Manning never beat Florida.

I bet FL fans really care that Peyton went to Denver, and took Tebows job. lol

It's kind of embarrasing that this is something a TN fan would brag about!

i root for the gators to do well in the pros, like vol fans root for vols to do well in the pros.

but, i am a gator first. i enjoyed the wuerffel and tebow eras much more than the emmitt smith era.

ask any gator, whenever peyton manning is mentioned....we all kind of chuckle

Anytime I read your stupid post, I do the same, chuckle :birgits_giggle:

I was really hoping that the Titans would get him so, after saying that I'll say this- I'm not so sure Peyton is as crazy in love with this state or it's fans as they are with him. It looked like a win/win for him & the Titans "if" he really wanted to come back here. Just sayin... & oh by the way, good riddance!

You should see them squealing over on the ESPN SEC blog.

They get it, believe me.

And why else would they be here on this "stupid" "retarded" thread? Priceless.

This has to sting the once mighty and proud Gators.

UT's best QB is light years better than UF's best QB.

Why? He isn't your quarterback anymore. And when he was, he made a career of losing to UF when he actually WAS a Vol.

Retarded thread.

Oh, I almost forgot -- PManning beat one of UF's other great QBs in the Super Bowl (RGrossman).
