Vols at 15-1 odds to win 2017 NC

Thst seems fair. 15-1 odds on a favorable schedule with only two dangerous trips to College Station and Athens and Bama/Florida coming to Neyland. Plus returning 17-18 starters.

So, I'll have 15 farms after next year's title game.

I'm gonna need a bigger hoe.

Sounds reasonable to me. Orange glasses or not anyone can see this team is loaded with talent an experience.

I love to see the love for Tennessee and all the potential that they have for next year (Shoop, JRM return, Dobbs senior year, new TE coach etc.....)

saying all that this gets you nothing when the season ends
Auburn at the beginning of the year (with an all world DC and a slightly-hyped QB) was I think like 7-1 or 10-1 so there's that......

Tennessee and Michigan have the same odds and Ohio St is 10-1 but some way to early polls have Michigan as a Top 5 team and not Tennessee or Ohio St. I'd like to lay some money on Michigan doesn't even win the Big 10 next year.

Hahaha, I hate to even say this, bc they don't matter, but Vandy isn't even on the list. Made me chuckle.

If our odds are that good to win the NC, that means our odds of getting to the playoff are even better. Probably 4-1 or 5-1. What's more, with the SEC playing as well as they did this year in Bowl games, there is a reasonable chance that 2 SEC make the playoffs. The most likely scenario where this would occur is if the SEC East and SEC West champs both have one loss and split their regular season and SEC championship games (i.e. we beat Bama at Neyland and they beat us in the SECCG or vice versa). Imagine a scenario where we split our regular season and SEC championship games with Bama, and then we play them a 3rd time for all the marbles, and WIN! Talk about some sad Bama fans. Go Vols!

Season hasn't even started yet and if you don't have high expectations for next year then you haven't been paying attention to what's been happening these past 2 years.
