At least FSU has won some titles over the last decade. We could become the new Arkansas if we don't watch out.

.....fsu won just about as much as us or less, unless you're talking conference titles b/c the ACC has always until recently been a one-team show.

I think we're more 90's middle of the pack UGA or mid/early 80's UT at this point

I actually made this analogy three years ago...and I lived in Tallahassee for 5 years from 2000-2005 so I know first hand what was going on down there. Apologists for the old regime were making the same arguments..."these things go in cycles"; "coach has earned his place here, we have no right to throw away everything he's done for us in the past"; "how can you say that a man that's won that many conference titles and national championships can't coach?"; "who are we going to get to replace him...you've seen the problems Bama is having getting a good coach"...I could go on.

Point is, they made the same arguments, the apologists have won out, and you can see where that program is at.

I think Michigan is our true mirror. We still have the potential to win a big game now and then (though we lose most of them), and we don't always handle the smaller games we are expected to.

Again........We just overlooked UCLA. UAB can beat us....if we dont prepare for that freaking game.

Die hard Florida State fan here and let me tell you that the Vols have a lot more talent than FSU currently. Don't degrade yourselves that badly!

Kidding, but all jokes aside UT is 30 points better than UCLA. They just played poorly on offense and the defense got caught jogging around in the 2nd half.

I'm sorry but seeing Brandon Warren on the end of a running set is a complete joke to me. He did pancake a guy the first time, but got used many other times. He looks like a defensive back on the end next to those big offensive lineman. Crompton didn't do a great job getting him the ball but he did drop a couple. He ALMOST made a great catch on that one play, just like all the almosts at FSU. I hope he becomes more of a weapon than that. It does appear that UT is committed to using him in more ways than FSU did.

creepy accurate in regards to describing the situation in Tallahassee but it's not really the same thing. With Bowden it's more of an age thing and the all time achievements of Bowden TOWER over Fulmer, so he doesn't get as much of a free ride (at least he shouldn't).
