This team doesn’t always take the mental edge aspect like most teams, I mean today was a virtual home game for them with the revenge factor of just losing to this team that they are better than and they come out and act like they didn’t even want to be there. Kudos to the fans that made the sacrifice to be there to cheer on what should hav been an epic day. You guys deserved much better from them.

You got that right. They've got several wins over "name" programs. Ole Miss, Memphis(twice), Houston, Xavier... two guards both shooting over 40% from 3. UTs habit of being up and down won't fly anymore...not that it did during the SECT. This team either gets it's act together or Cinci will send them home with yet another goal for the season lost.

UT fans have been nuts over this team all year long. They've traveled and done their part. I'm certain they'll travel to watch them in the NCAA. It's just a shame that the team hasn't been able to take care of business when it counted.

What adversity did we face there? Are you talking about being down late? I suppose you could look at it in that sense though that’s not really the kind of adversity I was referring to. And that was a great win, it actually put the sec champ game right there on a silver platter for us and we didn’t take it because apparently the team was tired, even though auburn had more reason to be tired than we did.

Fair point, but that was the worst we’d played in two years. I can’t imagine it happens again the next week. Plus we won’t be coming off a huge emotional physical crazy game against the big rival

Sorry I just hate the whole “ go root for another team” response when you show any kind of disappointment in an outcome around here. It’s maybe the dumbest phrase I’ve seen.
