We are the favs to reach the SugarBowl. I wish things had been different in a few games. What I wish even more is that all the kids who suffered injuries hadn't suffered them. Not only would that have been better for them but we would be looking at a much different seasons end.
So let's Go Vols and bring the SugarBowl home to KTOWN.

Premature at best. Assumes our Vols win Saturday. Assumes UF loses to FSU and Bama. Assumes Auburn doesn't beat Bama. Many assumptions that need to become reality first.

Who is the predicted opponent?

Oklahoma or a butt hurt big 10 team?

Either way, someone with a good running game.

CFP standings and Vegas odds..

The CFP standings don't mean anything for us until after the conference championship week. There are a lot of what-ifs to happen that make all of these projections very premature.

The Sugar Bowl doesn't care what Vegas thinks about Tennessee.

Dream: Sugar
Reality: Citrus or lower.

No actually it's much more than a dream it's a real possibility. If the Vols win out and the all the teams favored win in these final games, we will more than likely be in the Sugar Bowl. That doesn't it's in stone by any means, we have to beat Vandy and they have given many teams trouble, we a bad fumble call away from beating Auburn. Florida is capable of beating FSU even though a think FSU is better, I just don't see Bama losing to uf, but stranger things have happened. But realistically I just don't see Florida's offense scoring much at all on bama's, and while uf's defense is good and at times very good they can also be average. Many injuries and while it didn't show up against LSU it's likely to against the tide. GBO!!!!!!

It will be Big 12 vs SEC. So yes, more than likely OU or Ok. State.. assuming neither makes the playoffs of course.

What I mean by that is that we are mainly competing with Auburn and Florida for the spot based on CFP standings. Vegas has us winning our last game and both of them losing the rest of theirs. Yup, things still have to happen on the field. However, doesn't change the fact that we are the favorites.

Be nice to beat OU after last year's deal. But do not believe we have the run D to do it.

No chance of having JRM back by then? He would be our only hope. A healthy JRM and DKJr combo would give us a chance. Gaulden would have to have 12+ tackles too, I think.

Damn I wish we had a shot at Michigan. I think we line up the best against them.

I wouldn't mind pooping on Franklin's parade vs Penn St either.

Oklahoma or Florida St would be fun opponents.

Im not sure why JRM would risk it over a bowl game that is not a NC.

ESPN and other "experts" some of y'all LOVE and fall all over when they say bad things about us.

Those are projections put out to get clicks. And it's kind of ironic that you would source ESPN and then make fun of people that source ESPN.

This is Rivalry Week - a LOT of upsets could happen, some upsets probably will happen.

Then we still have Conference Championships left to play.

We aren't "The leader in the Clubhouse" by a long shot. There are still a lot of things that have to happen.

First thing's first - we have to show up for Vandy and beat them (probably convincingly), then we can worry about what anyone else does or what we want them to do.

Didn't the Florida-LSU game teach y'all anything?

You're right man. ESPN only knows what they're talking about when it's negative about us. My bad.

Auburn is the leader. They are 4 spots ahead of us.

If they play close with Bama, we won't pass them.
