In addition to the Vols, what games are you watching next weekend?

I think I'm gonna try to catch all or part of 9 different games:

Thursday:
-- the first hour of #21 UCF vs UConn (6cst, espnu), just because it's the first game of the season and I miss football so much
-- Northwestern-Purdue (7cst, espn), out of nostalgia for us beating NW in that bowl, and in memory of when Drew Brees put Purdue on the map

Friday:
-- Army-Duke (6cst, espnu), my second-favorite team vs David Cutcliffe

Saturday:
-- flip between Ole Miss vs Texas Tech (11cst, espn) and Ohio State - Oregon State (11cst, abc), to see which of the Rebels and Buckeyes looks more harried :)
-- Vols-Mountaineers (2:30cst, cbs), of course!
-- Vandy vs MTSU (6:30cst, secn) for chuckles, go Blue Raiders!

Sunday:
-- LSU-Miami (6:30cst, abc), because it's college football!

Monday:
-- Va Tech vs FSU (7cst, espn) because ditto!

How about you? Other than Vols-Mountaineers, anything interesting to you this first weekend?

p.s. sorry if I didn't get your second-favorite game in the poll, I ran out of spots to use. Didn't even have room for an "Other" choice, after getting all the Power 5 vs Power 5 matches listed.

LOL... BYU I guess since that will be UT's "big" OOC opponent next year. After dealing with Oregon, OU, VT, WVU... they get BYU next fall and MSU from the West. Comparatively the easiest schedule UT's had in a while.

Considered, and dismissed.

Even as badly as I miss college football, there is not a single compelling thing there.

In my world, college football starts a week from today. :) [and it REALLY starts when lads in orange take the field a week from Saturday!]

Unfortunately the #2 game is the one that happens to come on at the same time as UT: Auburn vs Washington. That should be a very interesting game, but alas, my attention will be on the Vols.

Agreed. That would be a fun game to see. But no competition when put against our Vols.

Great post JP.

Go Blue Raiders!

Go Black Knights (even though I like Cut a lot).

Go Canes!

Go Vols!!!!

I will watch some of the other if they are close, but I'm not a fan of Michigan or Norte Dame I watch some to see what they have.

I do have some interest in the Alabama game just to see how the new DC is working out. Ha ha.
