Sheez! I'm happy everyone gets to watch these games, but it's starting to look like I'm only gonna get about 4 games (Vols) worth of benefit out of my ESPN Gameplan subscription...to the tune of about $32.50 per game...I really should've gone game by game! Oh well, I have seen some other good out-of-market games too, but I would NEVER have subscribed were it not to watch UT games. I guess there's a reason it's non-refundable...:jpshakehead:

I still think it's a great deal. Down here, I constantly get stuck with a Lincoln Financial game I don't care about. It's nice to have options.

I'd have to agree that with most of our games being late afternoon or evening, it's nice to have warmer-uppers to watch.

electric atmosphere in Columbia.

I've never seen those words together in a sentence. :)

Actually, I kid them, but the crowds in Columbia will surprise you with how loud they get. Usually by the 3rd quarter the "Oh no - Here it comes" mentality takes over though.

I still say, if Joe Morrison hadn't passed away, the history of that program would have been totally different.

No doubt. He was driving those slow defenses from the 80s nuts with the Run and Shoot. I don't know what would have happened when they joined the SEC, but one thing is for certain . . . He would have scared a LOT more teams than Sparky Woods or Brad Scott ever did.

They played the '87 Miami team, which I think is one of the 5 or 6 best teams of all time, dead even. They were headed toward a very bright future.
