Ben Howland seems like a logical choice if your priorities are "proven winner with a track record of regular season and tournament success." He doesn't have a job....we have one to give him. Bingo!

From a Mizzou board. They believe that they are pursuing Tim Miles

I wonder if we were pursuing a packaged deal or if McDermott was going to Nebraska if Miles were coming here. Still quite interesting.

Miles supposedly already turned us down.

If Hart is waiting on Smart, Marshall or Stevens, then he needs to wait. They are worth the wait. As far as the others that have been mentioned, we need to make an offer, talk it over, and wait 24 hours. If no answer, then we have to move on. Recruiting makes us move on. JMO

Smart and Stevens?

Bahahahahaha. You live in a a fantasy land my friend if you think there's a chance at all we get either of those guys.

And I bet CCM was kicking his own backside after hearing the news of Frank Haith's departure from Mizzou. I am sure CCM would love that Mizzou job but heck his deal isn't inked at Cal yet. Interesting predicament for CCM.

If he is offered the job at Mizzou or Purdue, nothing would hold him back from taking it.

I think Tennessee is a better job but I'm sure I will receive much disagreement.
Not from me. Most folks would consider UT the better job, IMHO. What's with the Hart bashing? The CBP slobber party did more to run off Zo than anything else, and Pearl signed with AU while UT was making it into the big dance. Hart wasn't even given a legitimate shot at him. Plus, who's going to argue with the CBJ and CDS hires? Good ol' sourpuss fans. They'll snipe at whomever has the job. Every program has their own assortment of nay sayers, so we'll just party on. Is it football time yet?:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

Hart will let them get who they want and take the sloppy seconds

You're like an over-emotional teenager right now. Calm down bruh.

Tennessee's probably a slightly better job than Missouri. Another weird situation where it's a win for both parties. I think Tennessee hires first, though

With Frank Haith gone at Mizzou, the Mizzou boards have been mentioning the same candidates that we have-Gregg Marshall, Shaka Smart, Mick Cronin, Michael White, Donnie Tyndall, Chris Mack, Richard Pitino, etc….

Are at a point where we have a coach ready to come on board and Dave Hart is ready to pull the trigger?

Or does Mizzou now in the mix complicate things and slows down our process and we are now in a bidding war for our coach with them?

Gregg Marshall and Shaka Smart will not be a coach at Tennessee. UT will not pay a lot for a basketball coach. Just get real people. Memphis pays Josh Pastor around 2.3 mil. Tennessee does not do that. :eek:hmy:

That's because Memphis pays their football coach like $50.00 a game:eek:lol: If they are paying anymore than that then they are getting ripped off.

So are the Missouri fans and media wearing wear sackcloth and ashes over how terrible their program is, since a coach left them?
