Yeah, I too hate Bama. Yesterday, my friend asked me why in the world I was cheering for Ole Miss to pull out the win in the closing moments. His argument was that Bama is the best chance the SEC has of putting a team in the BCS NC game, and while I agreed, I reminded him that no true Tennessee fan would ever be hoping any good comes the way of Alabama and their fans. The only excuse for hoping Bama wins is if it directly helps UT, as in, them beating a team we need to lose in order to back into another SECCG. So in others words, there is no excuse THIS season.
I have an idea.....
We should start a rumor nationwide, hell, worldwide, that Bear Bryant has been resurrected and will hold a press conference in Tuscaloosa on a specific day. All Alabama Fans must attend and all Opposing fans must leave the state.
Then, whilst the bammers are awaiting there "god", on that given day, we need to somehow make the lame state of Alabama (and Lame is an Understatment!!!) sink into the ocean, thus taking bama and its fans to the watery deep.
Then, the world would be free of Bammers and Tennessee would have a coast line.
That would be a good day.
.......an article written concerning the Vol-Bama rivalry stated that as recently as the early 80's that both schools were still allowed to wear their dark jerseys in the same game....the Vols in orange and Bama in crimson. Out of curiosity, I just don't remember that being allowed at that point in time. I believe I remember this happening as recently as the 60's, but not the 80's. Anyone remember for sure? Appreciate the feedback.
