the fan base that makes countless threads about stuff in the past...that is what limits us.

Isn't everything in the past?

Please, do enlighten us, what should we be talking about?

thanks for asking! I would suggest we talk about something...and I know this will be weird or seem outside of some individual's paradigm, and I know I am really going out on a limb here...so here it goes. Something different. Let me give you a list of the horses that have been beaten to death and beyond.

Play Calling
O-Line play
Dobbs throwing (of course we have to mention "down field" passing)

Now these are just a few. But what could we talk about? Here are some ideas but do not need to be considered "the ideas" but I think maybe talking about these could be pretty fun.

1) Grant Ramey said that App State had the advantage in the secondary. Our receivers seemed to do well as far as getting open. How will they stack up against VT secondary? How will we utilize PW this week?

2) Will Tuttle and Phillips be factors in this weeks game?

3) Shoop used only delayed blitzes last week. How do you think he will blitz this week...the only blitzes we have seen thus far have also been from the outside. I think JRM and DKJ could wreak havoc shooting the gaps. thoughts?

So, here are some that I think could serve as viable options as opposed to the "every thread subject matter" that we have dealt with since 11:00 eastern time, September 1, in the year of our Lord Two thousand and sixteen. That felt good to get out. :)

I think we are bored as a fan base. We need tomorrow so we can look forward instead of in the rear view mirror.

Tennessee, just 1 game into 2016 had a few weaknesses show up against Appalachian State.
If you had to pick an Achilles Heel for team 120, what would you guess will be the 1 thing that limits this team?

1. Mike Debord/play calling

2. Dobbs inability to throw the deep or intermediate pass

3.Vols Oline

4. poor tackling on defense

5. Combination of 1 and 2

6. Turnovers

I'll pick one that isn't from you list. The thing that I saw the least of was Motivation. I didn't see the spin on the ball from Dobbs, I didn't see the burst we expect from Jalen, I didn't see the anger in Barnett and Kongbo that I expected.

And from the lack of that, all of which you listed because an effect from the cause of motivation. JMO

Oh great, another freaking poll. Of course it's all of the above; everyone's been saying the same thing for a week now.
