The SEC Championship was a huge draw...

2007- 6.0(rating)/ 12(share)

...up 28% from last year's Fla/Arky

This year was the highest rated SECCG since 2001... UT/LSU.

yeah ND fans are like cubs fans.. ND could be 0-11 and there would still be lots of fans come out for game 12.

I'm new here so if this has been asked before sorry. I thought I heard a announcer say "puta" when the cameras panned the crowd, a knot of TN fans, they sit down, girl keeps standing, a man says "puta" of something that sounds like that. I ran it back so my son could hear he didn't know what was said either. Did anyone else hear this?

According to Wiki: In Roman mythology, according to Arnobius, Puta was the goddess of pruning vines and bushes.

I have no idea, but welcome to the Nation

Hmmm... can you explain all of the pay-per-view games this season? If we are such a ratings winner (and you've shown evidence to suggest that :ermm:), then why?

I think there was more to it than that in the '07 season.
Yes and no.

It is only in a season like we just had, where we were often not the most desirable matchup, that this PPV thing comes up. But don't think for a second that if Sportsouth for example could've taken those games this season, they wouldn't have.

But our limited fan base still has more loyalty when you add it up than ND.

no. Notre Dame won't have any problems putting butts in the seats next year, even if they start out 0-5. Notre Dame fans will show up no matter what. And, perhaps by ignorance, they'll still believe their program could beat anyone at any given time.
