I think we go 8-2 or 7-3 in our last ten and end up right around the 3/4 seed. Love the recognition!! Go vols!!

3, 4, or 8 seed or wherever.... I've enjoyed this season as much as any in the last several years...For CRB to take this team loaded with a bunch of 3 stars and 1 - 4 star learning his way to the level they are playing is COY worthy...and I like his style...he's in their heads constantly and they seem to react to it....and we know CRB can handle a 5 star lottery pick type player from his incredible relationships in the past....Just hope we can build on this next season....

College basketball power rankings Virginia Cavaliers win at Duke Blue Devils is a game-changer

11. Tennessee Volunteers
Record: 15-5
Last week: 15

The Volunteers have won six of their past seven after thumping Iowa State on the road by 23 -- not the typical result in Hilton Coliseum. They also have eight wins against Group 1 and Group 2 teams, as well as terrific power numbers (RPI, SOS, nonconference SOS). Tennessee should hope to pad its record at home this week against LSU and Ole Miss.

The advantage of a 3 seed is 2 fold:

1. Avoid a #1 seed until Elite 8
2. Much better chance of first 2 rounds in Nashville

Update from Lunardi just now...

NCAAM Bracketology - ESPN

2- Auburn
4- Tennessee
5- Florida
5- Kentucky
9- Arkansas
9- Alabama
11- Texas A&M

No Georgia, Missouri or South Carolina
based upon prevailing pre-season opinions, we'd be overjoyed with anything. Sitting at 3-4 now, if we can hold serve and hit at least a 5, if we can stay strong thru tourney, I'd say we have decent shot at sweet 16, depending on matchups...we typically play better against out of conference teams who've not played us regularly.

Top 10 easy. We’d be a dark horse final 4 team I think.

Have to see how this season finishes first...if this team goes to E8 or even S16 I wouldn’t say they’re a dark horse F4 team next year, I would say they will be widely discussed as a potential F4 team.

I love what Coach Barnes is doing here at TN. He ended up being a really great hire.

Now we just need to find a real coach for the Lady Vols.

very nice...was a little surprised with six teams, but Lunardi has 7 teams in...wouldn't doubt it...maybe even 8 before it's all done...nice job by Coach B, staff, and the boys putting it on the line...now, let's finish strong...and,

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think we'll be going to Nashville. There's a log jam of top seeds from the east coast, so there will be teams that will have to go out to Boise or San Diego. Since the Big 12 can't play in Dallas (Kansas will probably go to Wichita). My guess is that we would end up going there. So just based on how the current Super-average in the team sheets has teams ordered:

Nova - Pitt
UVA - Charlotte
Purdue - Detroit
Duke - Charlotte
Kansas - Wichita
Xavier - Pitt
UNC - Nashville
Cincinnati - Detroit
Auburn - Nashville
Mich St - Wichita
Texas Tech - San Diego
Tennessee - Dallas
Clemson - Dallas
Oklahoma - SD
WVU - Boise
Ohio St - Boise
