VOLS #3 in Lindys Preseason

I have faith in Pearlman. Our guys will be ready. He has made this a team in every sense of the word with the summer tour. I think the 3 ranking is right on and I think anything less than an SEC title and elite 8 is a major let down this year.:shades:

actually when you consider how insanely close we were to the Elite 8 last season, I think less than the FF would be a legitimate letdown. Let's just hope the OSU experience will translate to tournament maturity and not a monkey on the back. That's where Pearl comes in, and I think he's equal to the task.

I don't think this plays as well in basketball as in football. There are too many games to be played and not enough time inbetween them to worry about where your ranked, that and the rankings don't matter that much when it really comes down to it.

SEC #2 behind PAC10
Lofton #1 Shooting Guard; Jajuan #12 Small; Tyler #14 Power
Tyler Smith #1 Transfer

In public they will be moreso the hunted than the hunter. But inside the locker room, on the practice floor, and during games, Pearl will make sure they feel like the hunter. And he'll find a way to motivate them - people won't think they're good enough to hang with Memphis, UNC, UCLA, Kansas, Louisville, etc.

They'll be plenty hungry, and they will hunt.
