Yes sir! That is sweet, although our ATL record is not so good recently.

Hopefully we can get that turned around.

State pussed out of the last home and home the Vols had scheduled with them in 2007 and 2008.

Lol! There's a thread over their on their message board in response to our thread which is a response to one of their quotes and opinions about Lane Kiffin.

They actually think they have the grounds to trash talk us (save 1 or 2 intelligent members). One post was a picture of Neyland stadium with an area under the luxury boxes empty (a couple of thousand seats) and another was a pre or post game picture of Neyland after the Bama game. Was an entertaining 5 minutes to read that.

I cannot wait for this. I can't wait to go to work tomorrow and start talking trash...already. I'm sure I'll hear all about the '83 NCAA championship since they have nothing else to talk about.

I will be there in Atlanta.

also claiming they're going to sign up at VN to set up straight. That should be fun for a couple minutes

NC State? Seriously? They are barking at a SEC team? Blind homerism definitely knows no bounds. We will smash them. Period.

It seems all other schools in our area are taking this opportunity to sling arrows since our program has had a couple down years. If he is still here, that will be BB's Senior year. I see him putting up 200+ on that joke of an ACC school. If/when under Kiffin we get back to where we were in the 90's, there be a LOT less jawing from these never-been schools.

I'll have to get a ticket since ATL is only 5 hours away. Plus in 2012, that wll be Bryce's JR year and if all goes to Kiffins Master Plan, a solid Starting QB, veteran Defense and we ill be NASTY.

Pretty cool I guess. I just wish they could have matched us up against Miami, FSU, or VT. Still pretty cool.

Don't our boys play UNC in 2012 as well? If so, then the Vols could win the ACC Coastal division as well as the SEC.

Was at both of the Peach Bowls in ATL One was against Clemson and the other Maryland. Both ACC teams, got sick of ''fear the turtle'' crap with the Maryland fans at the dome. We got our tails kicked in both games, I made a promise to never attend another Chick-Fil Peach Bowl again.

I just don't get why this neutral field thing is going over to regular season. It's understandable if it's a rivalry or border war and it's in the middle somewhere, but I much prefer the home and home series and at least put it somewhere cool instead of a lame Georgia Dome. The outdoor elements need to be a part of it IMO.

inb4 tennessee and north carolina are bordering states

The Powerhouse of NC State:

2006: Akron 20-17 L (3-9)
2006: ECU 21-16 L (5-7)
2007: UCF 25-23 L (5-7)
2008: Wlliam& Mary (D-IAA) 34-34 W (6-7)

Since 2002 only 3 seasons above .500. only one season (2002) with 10 wins (11).

let them talk.
