What players this year for 2010-2011 season do you think Tennessee will draft? Do you think it will be as good as prior seasons or last year.

Predictions anyone?

Not as good as last year.....not the worst vols draft class ever...but not the best. 4 players.

Most likely Walker, and Jones but mainly Stocker. Stocker will be a first rounder. Depends on how the others play this year.

Not too great, but I don't expect a "noone taken" scenario either. Maybe some juniors could declare earlier to make it better, but with the way this team currently is I'd rather they all stay if possible

If our offense is as bad as it's supposed to be, it's going to hurt a lot of guys. Stocker will likely drop a good bit.

Dont kknow to tell you the truth. Walker and Stocker of course.....but of the top of my head I cant give 2 others. I am only guessing that we will have a total of 4.

honestly, it will be alot more about how he works out (combine, etc) than how effective our offense is.


A player who was injured most of the year can come out and have a really good or great combine / pro days showing and (if he passes the physical) he'll ended up getting drafted high

Luke Stocker is a lock pick in the 1st round, Chris Walker is likely to get drafted if he fully healthy.

Stocker needs to have a good season, or he'll get Jason Wittened.

I don't see Thompson going. And I don't see how we'll get three DE's drafted, but I suppose you didn't necessarily imply all three will go.

A 3rd round pick wouldn't be too bad a drop for Stocker; he's not going to be more than a 2nd even with a good year (barring an amazing combine)

My example was aiming towards how Jason Allen spent about half the season injured and was drafted 16 overall and Justin Harrell was out after the 2nd game, also 16th overall....it's really much more about your workouts at combine than it is about your season stats

Both those guys were pretty highly rated prior to their injuries. I'm not so sure Stocker is as valued at this point as some are implying. The grade the NFL gave him last year wasn't good enough to convince him to leave.

right, I don't think he has a lot of "pre-hype" grade wise. He looks to be in the "pretty solid prospect" category but he's not going to end up anywhere near game-changing (physically, he's just not like that)

but i was trying to say it's alot more about combine and workouts more than how their senior season turns out; it's more about - when they actually get to see you on their own - do you have the goods, body, condition, etc to compete well in the NFL

Look at Andre Woodson; everyone was dead set that he was a 1st or 2nd round QB following his sophmore and junior year, and by all stats considered he had a really good senior season.

Come pass combine and pro day workouts, the earlier expected late 1st or 2nd dropped to a 6th round pick.

Combine workouts are important and all, but you need to be on a halfway decent unit to get noticed (unless of course you are really outstanding). Rico McCoy seems like he had pretty good measurables, but was not even invited to the combine.

Nick Reveiz is a great college player, but I do not see him getting drafted. He is too small and not fast enough. I hope I am wrong, but my gut instinct tells me that he will go undrafted.

Ben Martin might get drafted if he tests off the charts at the combine, which is a possibility.


Gerald Jones is going to have to stay healthy for a full year, same thing for Moore.

Walker gets drafted and Stocker gets drafted.

Neither will be top two rounds unless they have monster seasons.

Cooper could be an undrafted FA that sticks with a team for awhile.

Savion Frazier could possibly be a late round pick if his knee is a 100% but I doubt it.

I don't really see Gerald Williams getting drafted unless he has an outstanding season too.

Martin- Depends heavily on this year. I would think mid to late round.

Moore- Maybe, but if he does it will be late round. Some team like Oakland might take a chance on his speed.

Reveiz- Doubtful. We'll sign as FA, but probably won't make it. I would really like to see him get a shot though.

Stocker- Another good year and I could see late 2nd. A good combine will help him a lot.

Thompson- Doubtful

Walker- Yes, needs good year to get into third round as a 3 4 OLB. An impressive combine would cement this I think.

Williams- Doubtful
