Tennessee opens as a 15 point favorite over South Carolina. Could be 17 or 21 by kickoff.

Carolina played well vs tamu, and their offense is similar to ours. I'm not touching this one.

For those who are saying Tennessee should cover easily, what are your thoughts on SCAR's strong showing aginst A&M? Not arguing necessarily, but I think USC played well against a good Aggies team on the road, and has weapons in Wilds and Cooper. I hope UT wins big, but we've been lucky to squeak by these guys the last two seasons.

A&M changed QBs over the bye week and just got done putting up 3 points on a Ole Miss defense Florida dropped 38 on, I'm fine.

I would think the loss to A&M would take the air out of their sails, in the sense that they were playing harder for the new coach/in honor of Spurrier. They put up a good fight but lost the momentum they had from the vandy win. I do give the gamecocks credit though, they threw alot of new stuff at A&M that A&M never saw coming.

Pretty sure we will beat them, but I'd be tempted to take the points.

But then again, that's why I don't bet on football. Only blackjack.

Seems way too high given SC's performance on the road at TX AM. I think Vols win but no way I'd put money on TN at that line.

I hope UCS doesn't get Justin Fuente or Tom Herman has their next HC. Those guys can coach.

Both will be downgrades from Spurrier circa 2005-2014.

Spurrier maximized both coaching and recruiting at South Carolina by keeping their top talent in-state, and he was able to do that because he was already a HoF coach when he took over.

It's hard to argue with what Fuente has done in Memphis. The team is full of walk-ons and lower rated players and they're undefeated with some nice wins over Cincy and Ole Miss. It took 4-5 years for Spurrier to get thing going at UCS. I think one of these coaches could do something similar.

Fuentes lucked into a couple of good players. QB will be playing on Sundays and that will make or break your team.
