Personally, I think it's ridiculous and if I played for UT I would be pissed beyond belief! I mean I still kind of am just as a fan.

Its good to be the underdog sometimes. But, if Bama gets that offense working, I can see it. Their Defense is pretty stout and I think Crompdaddy is gonna need to have a repeat UGA performance for you guys to stay in that game and have a chance. Play like you did against UCLA, and it will get ugly fast. Still, I think you guys have a chance to pull off a big upset. Anything is possible.

Arkansas was 24 point underdogs against Florida...

They should have won, stupid refs.

Point is, it doesn't mean anything.

Just curious.....what do you think it should be?

bama is #1 (AP)....undefeated…we’ve lost 3 games…the game is in Tuscaloosa…IMO 15 sounds about right.

Beat bama!

They're undefeated and ranked #1 and we're a .500 team. The beatdown of UGA is the only reason we aren't a 20+ point underdog. The spread isn't at all ridiculous.

I just think a rivalry of this capacity tend to even out teams FOR THE MOST PART. There have been the times where we have been on the top end of a, what i think is ridiculous, spread in a big rivalry, and barely won. Yet other times when it has been the complete opposite. I'm just saying if I was a player I wouldnt be coming to tennessee thinking I would ever be underdog by 15.

I just hope we can get our game together for this one!

15 points sounds more than fair. What if Alabama was playing Virginia(3-3) this week? Would that sound so incredible?

OUCH. You arent comparing the teams are you, because the record is the same? Thats like comparing you to Clemsucks. Trust me, you guys are better than both of those teams. Not a good analogy.

Vegas is just hoping others make his mistake and lose a lot of money by betting on Alabama.

Spread opened at -17, down to -14...
so people are betting heavily on Tennessee for the line to move more than a point a day.

15 points is about right. We are three and three. They are the no. 1 team in the country. What do you expecT?

I don't really see the problem. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bama won by more than that.

That about what I was expecting. I dont think we get beat that bad and think we have a shot at winning if we play like we did against Ga but we are not getting respect from Vegas or anyone else untill we're back in the top 10. Sad but true!

keep in mind that until a Bama game has a close final score, the lines will always look like this. All of Alabama's wins have come by 10 or more points.

What the heck does it matter? It's not that we're a 15 point underdog. Odds makers obviously feel that's the spread that will get close to an equal amount of action across the line on both sides.

now, if they were an 18 or 19 point fav, i'd be taking UT

You're 1-2 in conference, with an additional loss to UCLA, having beaten zero ranked teams, and your offended by being 15-point dogs to the #2 team in the country?

Exactly, a 5-7 Tennessee. I'd take Bama and give the points in a heartbeat. The line will be 20 by Saturday.

No way that line moves..Are you kidding?It's gone from 17 to 14.The money is on TN and why?Well.. ask SC why.You guys are beatable and I am looking forward to a great game as most of our games are close cept for the last couple of years....

thats exactly why the line will probably move again, all the money is going for Tennessee, plenty of time to bump it back up a few points before the weekend...
