Lol, pretty much.

Although to add perspective, when we moved to Hawaii in 1967, there weren’t 707’s yet, at least on Cal-Hawaii routes. So we sailed from LA, then San Francisco on the SS Lurline (formerly the SS Monterey) 5 days and 4 nights, steaming into Honolulu Harbor greeted by outrigger canoes, leis thrown into the water, and locals diving for coin tips tossed overboard. It was quite an experience for a 12-year-old.

I had no idea you survived the Titanic.

Mail me a few seeds? 😃
Sure! I have 15 seeds. I’ve promised some to our Extension Gardener plant sale, but how about 5? I think the germ rate is supposed to be pretty good (2022 batch)
Ok, just put 4 in the mail.

Apparently they can be a real PITA to germinate (14-35 days!), so you’ll probably need to keep them on heat for a good long time. I guess it’s because it’s a pretty new hybrid, and sometimes they can be persnickety, maybe like what Behr experienced with his killer death peppers, and what Hubs has encountered with his… nevermind

Anyway, I’m texting you a pic of the seed packet with what little info they give. 🙄 If I find something more useful online, I’ll send it to you. Here’s something (not much):

My son-in-law gifted to me a bottle of his hot sauce made from homegrown peppers - Carolina Reaper, Ghost, Scotch Bonnet, and Arbol. He used to brew some very tasty beer. Now, he grows the hottest peppers on the planet and blends these with others for a flavor profile. Flavor profile? I can't taste anything else for hours after consuming his hot sauces. My taste buds are scorched.

Pineapple and Blackberry work well in my hot sauces. Strawberry not so well.
Gold and black fruits...

Yeah, that’s my problem with hot chilies. I get a quick hit of the flavor, and then kablammo. I’m jealous of those that can handle the heat.

Is it the sweetness contrasting with the spiciness of the chilies?

Adding fruit would never occur to me, but I can sort of imagine how that would work.

Awright, fellow explorers in the land of X chromosome social media:

I think I’m gonna do this. Be sure to Zoom in to see the green and purple streaks, although I’d probably replace the purple with teal, and maybe add in some mahogany. My hair is a medium brown, lighter than what appears to be the model’s base hair color.

Also, I could probably wear 30 curling irons for an hour to get the beach curls, and they’d be gone in 5 minutes. Sad fact.

This is like an oil slick color, but instead of the purples and sapphires and emerald greens, it’s my colors. (Traditional oil slick colors work better on dark brown and black hair.)

So question: have any of you tried the in-your-face, not-found-in-nature colors? Is this a PITA to maintain? I’ve done subtle highlighting with copper and bronze, but not this.

The model’s orange shirt caught my eye.

If you ever get tired of it you can cut it and sell it for Bass fishing Jigs. I like the color oil slick for plastic baits. Would probably make a good jig material also.
