Probably so, except that they have refused to explain why they can’t (or won’t) put sidewalks on just one side. And it’s a proposal that was made (and discussed, and supported by many residents) over two years ago. I was hoping that residents wishes and reason among an enlightened city government would prevail. Clearly, your argument provides greater value.
