I thought it might be fun to put together a list of the top 10 prospects in the state of Tennessee as voted by the knowledgable members of VolNation.com.

Submit your nominations in this thread and then I'll put something together where everyone can vote.

You and I had a debate about the TN defense. Did you happen to catch the Barnhart trend? It's on this site.

i really like Redmond too. i hope he gets an offer at camp.

one guy who I think is EXTREMELY underrated by our fanbase is Jaylen Walton. he has offers from Auburn, Notre Dame, Penn St, Nebraska, UCLA, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss St, and is getting ready to get one from Alabama. if it was not for Brian Kimbrow, we would be in love with this kid. you can't find but maybe 4 guys in TN with an offer list as good as his but somehow people forget about him.

No, I haven't. You'll have to refresh me on the debate.

We were just debating 3-4 vs 4-3 defenses. Also, personnel. That trend (Barnhart) was more about personnel or lack of personnel. Especially LB. I thought you would find it interesting. No big deal!

I've kinda moved more toward your side on that debate. We definitely do not have enough guys to fill a two deep in a 3-4, but you will see 3-4 alignments this year no question. As long as you have the personnel for a play or two, you can run it. I'll check out that thread.

I just think TN needs some stud LB's. That should be there top priority. Then some DT's plus some overall depth!

Walton is very good. Unlike Kimbrow, he gets the benefit of playing on a better team. Everything I have heard about the kid has been Ole Miss from the get go. Not sure we would have a shot. He like the type of Offense that Ole Miss runs compared to TN.

For the record, I like Kimbrow, but I think Robinson will have the best career out of the group (i.e. Kimbrow, Mathers, Walton, etc.).

Walton is very underrated. Tennessee is deep with talent with running backs.
