Volnation Live--Please read

Fellow Volnationals:

Volfreak and I have decided to continue Volnation Live on a limited basis.

There are multiple reasons for this decision:
1. A reduced number of listeners and no new callers
2. Our inability to find a bug-free call software has more than likely contributed to #1.
3. Football is king and basketball just doesn't have the interest to get listeners.

As a result, we will do the following shows.
1. Signing day
2. Spring game
3. Fall Media Days
4. At least the week before kickoff in the fall will start a regular weekly show until the end of the season.

If we end up with rising attendance, new callers and we can work out the technical difficulties, we will more than likely continue the show on after the 09 Vol Football season, so it will be evaluated then.

Sorry to disappoint those who have been active with the show and we express our gratitude for your interaction. We do have a lot of fun with the show but we want to match Volnation Live quality with that of the website, currently that is not the case.

Thanks for listening and we'll let you know the time of the Signing day show.

either way, job well done gentlemen. many hungover days were spent listening to the great show.

Thanks. I have not tried it yet. I would like to know more about how it works. Is it just listening on the phone? The net? Can we chat and listen? :unsure:

I'm sorry man. I have not even heard of this. Please explain exactly what it is in detail if you don't mind. I am fairly new to volnation, but I've been all Tennessee since I was born.

It is a great show. I am little disappointed there wont be one tonight because of so much news on the staff. I do understand though about technical difficulties.

Thanks guys for all that you do. I have just been logging on but have loved getting together with everyone. I am not a guru by any means, but I sometimes wonder if it might be advantageous to use either gotomeeting or elluminate. They have problems sometimes too but not near what you guys have had to experience. Either way we will get it.

I am a new listener. My first Volnation live was the last one and I will definately be there signing day. Thanks guys for all you do. Voll Calls has nothing on you guys (execpt the coaches:)) Again, thanks guys and great job.

I always enjoyed the show,but technical issues
kept me from full enjoyment or full participation.

I agree and understand that football is king but I learned and looked forward to learning more about the other sports through VOL NATION LIVE!

You mean I spent all day rehearsing my call for nothing?!?! You weren't going to call me out on the air AGAIN! Just kidding. Understood on the techno difficulties. Will look forward to next time....

I had always been interested in the VolNation call in, but has softwatre problems and didn't want the masses to critique every comment ...

is there anyway to archive old shows, so we can get our fix before signing day?
