When a player is returning a kick he's a member of special teams, not on offense. The rule makes perfect sense to me.

I couldn't tell about that because everybody's players are apparently locked when other teams are viewing them. But when I got an automatic email notification about changes it referred to our league as the short bus league. Sounds like a butt hurt third grader acting out to me. Just saying.
