I lost the spirit when we didn't go to one. That and coming in second in the regular season was a killer.

It wouldn't have been illogical to pick Houston... Kansas became bowl eligible by the skin of their teeth not only in the Big XII, but the Big XII North which we all know blows. Add to that Houston has one of the more well organized and executed offenses in the country, and it's possible the Cougars could have taken it. Too many playmakers on the Jayhawks defense, though.

Mangino is huge.

Freak, I'm nailed to the wall...Didn't know Brian Brohm was injured...I picked Louisville because I thought he would throw for 400 yards against the Chokies...now he isn't even playing and Tech will kill 'em!

Looks like the wah-hoo-wahs took care of business. WTG Cavs! I picked them early but got skittish. It was a great performance by both teams.

I can handle Miami losing horribly like this for three reasons... an SEC team crushed them, they suck, and I hate the U.

The other three were painful... Minnesota led a lot of the game, the Cocks were up 21-0, and Northwestern 22-0... :realmad:

It looks like I am alone in 1st place this morning. 4volfans is alone in 2nd but we picked the same teams for the last 8 bowls. It is definitely nowhere near over but someone is going to have to come on really strong with a couple of upset picks to win this.
