Guys, I apologize for the issues people have had getting access to VolNation. We obviously didn't anticipate a coaching change and therefore never imagined we would be dealing with this kind of traffic.

The good news is VolNation has already set up a more powerful server to run the site. It's up and it's running and it's ready to go. The problem, however, is that in order to move the site to the new server we would have to take VolNation offline for several hours.

I'm currently working with some professional server admins to determine the best path in light of our current circumstances.

Thanks for your patience in this matter.

Freak, you rock!

I hope you'll seriously consider some type of donation program in the future. Even if the site pays for itself with ads, I think alot of us would still be willing to help if we could.

It is your site. Everyone should appreciate that, along with your hard work and dedication to keeping it going. If you have to shut it down a few hours - as they say - absence makes the heart grow fonder.

You know, it just occured to me how much I could get done if I knew the site would be down for a few hours. My kids could eat before we get a new coach!! :dance2:

Thanks for all of your hard work, Freak. Do what you have to do with taking it down. Hell, I might actually get some work done tomorrow if it is down. :D

If it's down for a couple of hours that will mean that we will miss at least 10 my brothers cousin knows a guy that works with a woman from Knoxville who told me who the new coach is!! I agree we all need a break! Thanks Freak!

I have seen as many as 9500 approx. on here at one time and was running sooth at the time, which almost doubles the previous high. I also saw your post in reference to a software upgrade. Just trying to point out my appreciation of the effort and your obvious loss of sleep.

That's awesome news Freak. Thanks for the time and effort you put into the sight. If there is anything members can do extra, like a donation fund or something, let me know and I am all for it. Anything to help the site because I know we all live and breathe volnation. GO BIG ORANGE!

Thank you so much for this awesome site! You don't know how much it is appreciated. Believe it or not this is one of the way my sons and I stay connected. They're in Kansas and proudly sport the Big Orange and the Titan Blue. Thank you for this site, and the hard work that you put into its upkeep. Look forward to signing back on when you bring the site back up. Thank you Vol Freak! Go Vols!!!!
