First order of business, it says homeristic not homotastic so all you "friends of Dorothy" don't get too excited.

Now that that's out of the way, let me say that Tennessee is the best damn school in the land and that Vol Football is second to none. Coach Dooley is gonna get it done folks. He's recruiting well and hiring people that can make up for his short comings. Believe me when I tell you that.

As for the players, these young men are ready to prove the country wrong. The time they spent at home watching everyone else play in bowls last year has got them re-focused and I believe they will have a new sense of dedication to themselves and what it means to wear orange. A new attitude is here to stay.

Coach Dooley and staff are going to keep recruiting lights out and soon Tennessee will be taking its pick of recruits. Tennessee will be at the head of the table sooner than later.

GO VOLS !!!

What has Dooley himself done on the sidelines that makes you think he is a good head coach? I hope I'm wrong about him.

Overacheived in his first year (if we beat LSU & UNC, this is a no-brainer)

Underacheived with injuries to starting QB's, WR, thin at every position, and zero running game (w/ mixed blame on Oline and RB's)

They're not moral victories, but the LSU & UNC games were ones we never should've been in ... LSU was top 15 @ their place and UNC we just bought out b/c we supposedly couldn't compete.

I'm not happy with the losses, but I'm smart enough to see we were two crazy endings away from big upsets.

Oh yea, & Matt Simms was the starter in year one. At least we had some talented seniors that year to take care of Kentucky

I don't think we were so bad that we "never should've been in" the UNC game.

UNC was playing for a lame duck coach with a 3rd or 4th string TB after losing half its NFL talent due to suspensions.

Tennessee wasn't exactly "overmatched" there

2010 with wins over UNC & LSU and we are 8 - 5.

2011 with no key injuries, we beat either USC and UGA, then Kentucky. That would have been another 8 - 5 season.
Our luck will change at some point.
