Vol Walk

Going to my first Tennessee football game...since I was like 18. And I'm curious where's the best place to go for the vol walk?

Do they cancel the vol walk if it's raining? and does the band still salute the hill? if so what time and where's the best place to go?

Thanks so much for any info! and it's ok to tell me if the questions are stupid:)

I know from experience gained last year that they do not cancel the vol walk due to rain.

It has to be raining really hard and thunder and lighting for them to cancel.

I concede the point. I must confess that in all my years of attending UT football games, the KY game last year was the first vol walk that I have ever attended. I had always been otherwise occupied. (read: partying)

There was something on the 11:00 p.m. news last night about changes to the vol walk. About changing or bringing it back to the "old tradition".

It was a downpour that day. I think everyone was either sitting in their cars or were under the cover around TBA. It was one of the weirdest games I have been at. No Vol Walk, the band didn't march in before the game, the T didn't run through the T, and the stadium felt like it was half full.

Thanks so much for all the advice! I was really looking forward to the Vol Walk go figure they'd cancel it the game I go to......:dry:

The gameday atmosphere was awesome! I can't believe it took me sooo long to go back to a game, I'm definitely going to more I'm actually going to the Auburn game Saturday with a friend!!!

So I have another question (this might be another stupid question lol). I noticed Saturday that not all the tickets were the same. Some were plain white background (like mine:hmm:) and others had I believe it was Rico McCoy...why? I want cool looking tickets!! How can I get some?
