Brand new to the board. Glad I found it. Anyway, my first post will be a question. I'm bringing my son to his first Vols game this week (Florida!) and my first in years. Wondering if anyone knows what time the Vol Walk will be and the best place to see it. He's pumped about seeing the players, so I want to be sure we don't miss it.

By the way, I did a quick search thinking there may be an answer out there already, but didn't find it. Sorry if this is a redundant question.

usually about 2 hours before kick off. there will be an 'accurate' time announced but it runs late alot of times. just get there 2 1/2 to 3 hours before kick off if you want to get close to the players and be ready to hold your ground...

and if you're not good with street names or directions, just go where everybody else is and get in front !
there will be alot of helpful fans around if you need help, seriously.:eek:k:

It's at 1:15 this week. When I go, I like to stand across from Gibbs Hall (where the underclassmen athletes live) on Volunteer Blvd. If you have no idea where that is, just get on Volunteer in front of the stadium and look for the orange T's painted on the sidewalk. The team follow those T's all the way to the stadium.

Last week was my first time seeing it and I got in front of Stadium last minute lots of people and recruits jammed in front of me but I fought my way back in the middle and shook all the players hands and got autographs

Stand right in front of the band on Peyton Manning Pass. You can usually get right to the front. Last week the strength and conditioning coach put a hat on a little kid on his dad's shoulders, so keep that in mind...your kid may get a souvenir.
