Per the Titans online site the walk is at 12:45 at the corner of Shelby st and 2nd ave. Do they mean 2nd St? That's a bit of a walk from 2nd Ave surely they wouldn't have them walk across the river

Could be either.

The Vol Walk in Knoville is about 800 feet total length. Giving that as a point of comparison.

The walk from 2nd Ave & Shelby would be roughly 2,000 feet (almost a half-mile). That's pretty long, but much of it is dedicated to foot traffic:

The walk from 2nd St & Shelby would only be about 600 feet:

Given those distances, the 2nd St interpretation does seem more likely. But it is possible that the 2nd Ave is not a misprint, and is correct.

Nothing will beat this experience... It was awesome!!

The USC game in 2013 is still the best Vol Walk I have personally seen... I hope the OU,ARKY, and UGA Vol Walks are better than that one.

As far as a non-Neyland Vol Walk, that would be at the top

Where is everyone parking for the game? Planning to be there to watch vol walk.

I usually always park at TA Nashvile for the Titans games. Easy for me to get to off and back on the interstate to head north. Usually $15-$20 for parking and two blocks from the stadium but the vol walk is looking like it's going to be on the other side of the stadium so not sure now.

The pedestrian bridge is the Shelby street pedestrian bridge so 2nd avenue and Shelby would send them across the bridge which would be very cool.

I thought about that too, and it would be AWESOME... just can't see them walking 1/2 mile though...

I was going to park in the parking lot across from the Limelight where we usually park for Titan games, but may try to find a good spot near Shelby and 2nd St with enough spaces to set up to tailgate and not be far away for the Vol Walk... The Limelight parking lot is on the other side of the stadium and usually takes 5-10 minutes to get to the gate...

The walk from 2nd Ave is longer, but from 2nd St they will basically be walking from a junkyard recycling facility. I could see CBJ liking the photo op as he walks accross the pedistrian bridge over the Cumberland. For physically fit college football players a 1/2 mile walk is just stretching and loosening up basically. Fans walk it and the north bridge all the time to go to Titans games. But have fun whoever goes down for that. There are some good places to eat down on 2nd Ave.

The TaxSlayer VolWalk was complete insanity!!! I loved every moment of it, and I really think it got the players fired up for the game.

Walk is too far but dang what a photo op it is as you say.

Might be worth the walk for a great pic with the #ourstate towering over the city of Nashville painted orange

In this morning's press conference, Butch noted that the Vol Walk for the BGSU game will be in the area of parking lots D and J.

That means it is almost certainly starting at 2nd Street and Shelby, not 2nd Ave.
