Vol v. Gators game thread

I have some buddies that hollered "home cooking" about the calling, but I didn't see it.

It was a home game for us, so there are obviously going to be a couple of home cooking calls. However, when you're the #4 team in the nation and you're down by 27 points to an unranked team, it's a little hard to blame it on home cooking. Besides, UF got as many calls from the refs as the Vols did.

Slick Rick says, what a game last night. It was an awesome experience to be there. The video that Coach Pearl did before the game on Dane was hair raising. The Big Orange surely jumped a couple of seeds higher last night with that HUGE win. Signs were left around town to mark the appearance of Slick Rick. Go Big Orange, now go beat Georgia and let's move up even higher.

Agree. The calls looked ok for the most part. When they did screw it up it they usually balanced it out with a make it even bad call.

In other words, the refs combined a perfectly balanced "let them pay" approach with a perfectly balanced "let's whip a few completely spastic calls out of our butts" approach, so that neither team got an advantage, but both teams went away with something to feel dicked about....
