I think we should make all orange the official Homecoming uniform. I like to see it once a year but big games we really shouldn't wear them IMHO. The orange jerseys/white pants is our classic look and should be worn for most of our home games.

As much as I like the all orange unis, I agree that we're not successful with that combo for whatever reason. I assume the traditional orange & white will be on display. Oregon will wear something stupid I'm sure.

That's why I think all orange should be the Homecoming uniforms. We usually play weaker opponents then so we could win some.

Good heavens, they can't get the orange stripe and T remotely close to the jerseys. Can you imagine what an entire helmet of mismatched orange would look like?

This has been addressed. Its a heavy duty decal. It is supposedly impossible to get the colors to show the same on the vastly different materials. Some say tweak it so the final product matches. Experts say its not that simple. One poster went so far as to say if you can do it, he can get you a bid on the contracting of said decals. Try the search.

I absolutely remember those! I was at that game and thought those jerseys were awesome. Orange shouldered jerseys should be worn more often. God knows it looks better than those orange pants (shudders).

I don't need to do any search on this and am very well aware of this explanation. I'm not confident the helmet companies could match the orange on Tennessee's jerseys. Without having it match, they would look ridiculous.
