this head coach si very, very into tradition. At some point he may break from that but I expect it may be many years before we see it happen. I expect traditional uniforms at home and on road for a long time..

I agree with you. However, I do think he will switch it up with the road uniforms.

I personally like what we have now with the Metallic Pearl helmets.

1999 vs Memphis was almost a disaster. Then there was the 2007 SEC championship game...
I know there are a few more sandwiched in there but I can't recall which games. I do recall that none of them went well for us though

I personally like the all orange look, however, we seem to choose the worst games to wear it. Maybe we should try against UK?

As for the pro-combat I would like to see orange and a dark gray. I used those on NCAA and they were pretty sick.

How many announcers will say that between the two teams it was the ugliest display of uniforms ever? Neither one is too popular for its' uni's.

I agree with the poster above about the flat black helmets...Oregon's uni's from last week were the best I have seen from them in a long time.

When its all said and done, if we win, we could be wearing hot pink jerseys with gold pants.

If we did do some sort of pro combat with adidas i'd like to see an Orange Jersey with White Sleeves, and some sort of new white pant with an orange stripe. Keep the helmet the same

I know there have been a few more losses between the '99 and '07 SECCG that I'm forgetting.

I remember being at a party for the 07 SECCG and when we came out in all orange me and my buddy looked at each other and said a collective "well, we lose." Everyone was asking what we were talking about. All I said was, "Just wait, you'll see."

I think the black face mask on our traditional helmet looks pretty cool. like what you saw in the Eric Berry photo last year up on the jumbotron and utsports website. I think it would look good if we did incorporate a black jersey with orange numbers and a orange stripe up the sides and white pants with an orange stripe. of course the black addidas cleats. I think that would look pretty cool.

Take an Orange shirt and a black shirt. Turn the black shirt insideout and put it on then put on the orange shirt. Sew them together around the waist and take off. Then sew the sleeves and neck together and there you go. Problem solved.

It will be Orange jerseys and white pants. I heard a Dooly quote the other day about tradition which is fine by me. I hope we mix white jerseys with white and orange pants both on the road to change it up a little. I can only hope the black jerseys are pulled out sometime in the future.

Yes, I freely admit that. The idea is to cause motion sickness for the ducks each time our guys are in motion, or at least hypnotize them if not out-ugly them uniform-wise.

I like all of our uniform combinations. The only thing I don't like is how our jerseys seem to bunch up or scrunch up so the #'s are hard to read. I think they don't look very good when they do that...I would like to see the return of the black jerseys or maybe even the retro jerseys. I think they both gave us a spark, and I think we should change it up at least once a year.

As much as I like the all orange unis, I agree that we're not successful with that combo for whatever reason. I assume the traditional orange & white will be on display. Oregon will wear something stupid I'm sure.

Good heavens, they can't get the orange stripe and T remotely close to the jerseys. Can you imagine what an entire helmet of mismatched orange would look like?
