But the rumor posted above is that UT would come out in white jerseys, black pants. I was pointing out that, as of today, USCe has not been informed that they need to plan on wearing anything other than their regular road uniform. The SEC requires teams to make requests of that nature in advance.

Gotcha. Didn't see that and assumed the Vols would be going Halloween with orange/black.

There's nothing wrong with the orange/white look at home...

I think in keeping with the holiday, orange jerseys and black pants would be pretty cool.

What I thought would be cool, with the spirit of the NCAA now allowing color-on-color, would be us in all-orange and UCSe in all-black.

I am less opposed to black pants, but we should really just leave black alone, in my opinion,for football. We only play 12 games, what's wrong with on consistant look?

He said there would be no black uni's for the Carolina game or any game this year for that matter. They are already ordering uni's for next year so doubt they will be there next year either.

I think the OP is referring to the old jerseys that were orange with black numerals. I think they were worn in the 1963 season, but let me do some checking and see if I can come up with a pic.
