That's fine...and I mostly agree...change just for change sake can be a bad thing. See camaros and mustangs in the 70s compare to late 60's models. They sucked in comparison.
I was just experimenting a little bit (have to admit...I kind of like the last one, and would like to see us break it out just for florida and bama, maybe.

Also just having a little sport with the goobers that tried to wreck the thread I started regarding the Power T Jersey concept I experimented with...

Still, plenty of Traditional scheme with a new twist

Trust me with this guys, you dont want to go to black unis. I have a whole closet of nothing but black and its boring. I would give my left fang for an orange suit and cape.

If black is so important to some of you, go find you a team with orange and black colors. There are several of them out there. Oregon State and Oklahoma State come to mind. I am sure that there are others. If Tennessee Orange and White is offensive to you there are plenty of teams for you to choose out there.

I do think that if Hamilton is stupid enough to let Kiffin mess with the traditions it will come back to bite both of them in the long run. I am surprised that some of the letterman are not making calls to the athletic department now. I know that during the Majors era they talked about pride in that orange jersey. I guess things have really changed.

Tennessee hasn't made major changes to it's jersey since the 1980s almost every other team in the NCAA has, the exception Alabama. We all know they live in the past.

Very few of the tradition rich football programs have made any significant changes to the uniforms.

Decent coaching and winning games will excite the students and prospective recruits. Alabama is not discussing black uniforms and they are not having any trouble creating excitement or getting recruits. If UT starts showing gimmicks then we will know just how desperate things are getting around here.

Black on the uniforms just plain sucks.

Here's the best way to excite recruits: Let's defeat all of our SEC opponents this year!!! Let's get some payback from the gators, bammers, etc... :clapping:

Here's your homework assignment: go watch the first 30 minutes of Fiddler On The Roof, the song about TRADITION... :pepper:
