I was reading an article earlier that was talking about changing the uniforms. They brought up things like taking the T off of the helmet for black numbers to using orange helmets with a white T. I even think somebody said something about using black jerseys :huh:

My opinion:
Home/ White helmet with orange double stripes like Wisconsin. Orange jerseys with white T on collar. White pants with double orange stripes with a orange T on the hip area.

Away/ Basically like what I said about the home except with orange pants like the UCLA game and a white T on the hip.

If you could change or tweak the uniforms what would you change?

Inverted T. It might look cool. Id have to see a picture to vision that. It might look good.

First of all, I think our home uni's are fine! I like orange and white just the way it is. I like orange and white jerseys with white pants and the 2 orange stripes.

The away uni's I think need to lose the black outline around the numbers. I liked the away jerseys we used to have that had the orange numbers and then the thin orange outline around the numbers. I wish we would go back to that. Also, I would like to see us go with orange pants with the 2 white stripes all the time on away uniforms.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this has been posted before, but i'm new here, so i want to hear everyone else's opinion:

Are the Vols really gonna try wearing black this year? I don't think so, black is not actually one of our colors. It's just a background color for most advertising products. But still, it would look kinda cool...

But it goes against tradition, I know we got a new coach and all, but that don't mean EVERYTHING will change! Maybe black will represent the "Torch" in the night like my avatar?

So what does everyone think? Should we wear black or not?

I have been a BIG "ORANGE" not a Big Black fan for 45 years. In the last 2 years there has been all this talk about black unis. Why don't they just get all the colors like say Orgeon and have know idea what the players will be wearing until they come out of the locker room. That way they would keep about 100 out of 104,000 fans happy all the time.

I like what Oregon does. At the same time, I like the tradition at UT. I would like to see small subtle changes here and there.

I am a fan of the orange on orange.
