Call me old fashion but I like the uniforms just like they are. The baseball uniforms look good in black, but leave the basketball and football uniforms alone.

No, I'm trying to get through to thick headed morons, who have no clue about tradition.

We are Tennessee. We are Orange&White. We are not Orange, White, and Black. We are not Orange&Black. We are not all Black.

Here! Maybe we need to illustrate with pictures. It might be invaluable in getting the point across to the comic book crowd.

Here is another jersey. It is Black in color. This is NOT us, we wear Orange. We are UT.

Our home colors will ALWAYS be orange and white. We have changed the road uniforms over the years, adding black, so those could still be a work in progress. But the home colors will not be changed. Period.

I think you are on to something here, if the uniforms resmebled the checkerboard pattern, our receivers would blend into the end zones and opposing defenses would be unable to find them.

Or maybe O and W camo uni's with a giant Git Er Done logo at mid field!

I think that the Traditional UT uni's should and will stay! I would like to see a bit of black in the orange jersey, similar to the white.
But Adidas HAS TO GO! NIKE & UA only jazz up the uniforms to schools that allow it or have no real tradition. NIKE or UA would not only make our uniforms look just the way we wanted, but greatly help us with recruits, marketability, and the quaility of equipment that our players have on the field!
We play the wrong type of football for Adidas to ever be an asset as a part of the UT program. June '10 can't come soon enough!

Using some black is part of our tradition people. From baseball 70 years ago to the black stripe on the HOME unis forty-some-odd years ago.

absolutely brilliant!! We might as well paint the whole field O & W checkerboard to increase the chances of receivers getting lost in the secondary.

This is the touchiest subject on this board. I personally would like to see us jazz up our unis some but I don't know if black is the answer. I think Nike is the answer. I wouldn't mind seeing white cleats sometimes. I think Nike is the answer though. They do a great job keeping Florida St. fresh and traditional.

While I agree that they are classic, they look like they forgot their game pants and had to wear the practice pants. I really couldn't care less what they wear. It's a touchy subject with some people apparaently, but I'm more concerned with wins and simply being competitive. GO VOLS!!!!
