why does our band wear blue and our baseball team wear black if Tennessee is only orange and white? You might want to rethink that idiot comment genius.

Ive never seen blue except on the LV's...Orange, white and black is all i have ever seen.

i like the traditional uniforms for sure. I too would like orange pants more often on the road though. I have seen this mentioned before on here but don't recall the answer. The unis that we used to wear with the orange on the shoulders were awesome. What was the reason we can't wear those again? On the road I mean.

they were somehow in violation of NCAA rules because they had too much orange on the jersey

IMHO: I believe this team would be best served by having the names removed from the jerseys...learn to play as a team and represent Tennessee...not themselves. Especially with the expected influx of new talent. I would hate to see even one more kelly washington (not cap on purpose)!

I went back about 10 pages looking for the white tops with the orange across the top. I assume somewhere in the 128 pages someone mentioned them?

maybe/maybe not?

1) no black, we'd be the Fighting Pumpkins, not the Fighting Kiffins

2) I'm ok with all-orange once a year, but I don't think it should be made full-time

3) I hate the all-white's we have now with black trim around the letters---it's too much white. in design 101, they'd say "too much negative space"...negative space is blank space and positive space is the lines/colored areas that make up the composition

4) see pics below of Ainge. I'd like that as an away jersey or a home alternate jersey.

5) I like white cleats instead of black...the less black, the better...TN is orange & white

6) alternate helmet for one game. see my avatar of the 1963 helmet....white helmet/orange stripe & black number on the helmet...we could auction them off to raise money for the school

7) I don't want to see white tops with orange pants again unless we make progress on the field (the UCLA game kind of spoiled those for me)

I definitely read an article the other day that listed us as some of the ugliest jerseys in the nation. I can't give you a link, just something I found us through a search. But we still weren't as bad as Oregon. Hideous. I would like to see some black. Some. Not much. But some. It gives a nice contrast. I mean, most teams DO have two colors and THEN black and white to accent it. Since our major colors are orange and white already...it would be nice to have a third color to give us a third option. Jerseys could either be orange, or white, or black primarily. If you did it right....it could be great.

Just say no to black jerseys here. Accent of black is fine, just not as a primary.

I am just saying that the type of sponsor tennessee has will not play a major role in how the team plays or what recruits we get, but if you were to ask any player right now they would say they would rather have nike over adidas and under armour. It should not make a big difference but if the players like it then why not?

Also screw UGA's black uni's but does anyone like florida state's?
