UT has won 20 straight over the Commodores dating back to 1983. It is the longest winning streak over any team by the Vols. It is the third-longest current streak over a major opponent in Division I-A. Only Notre Dame over Navy (40) and Nebraska over Kansas (35) have longer streaks.

UT’S SENIOR CLASS
The Vanderbilt contest marks the final home game for Tennessee’s senior class that has compiled a 34-13 mark over the last four years. The 22 seniors were part of three bowl games and one SEC Eastern Division title.

Casey Clausen extended his personal-best streak of passes without an interception to 125, seven shy of Peyton Manning’s school record of 132 in 1995.

The Vols have not turned it over in three straight games, tying the 1957 team for the longest streak without a turnover. The longest streak without an interception was five games in 1961 and 2002, while the longest stretch without losing a fumble was five games in 1990.

A total of 23 players, either true freshmen, redshirts, transfers or Volunteer squad members, have played for the first time this fall.
