Vol Targets Wavering?

The crazier moosecamp gets on the sidelines so goes his recruiting. Somebody in a position must have made mention to him (IOW stifle it), his antics were subdued during the Auburn game. Won't last long. gator fans have real reason for concern as long as moosecamp is HC.

I'd love to snag a couple of these guys, but at the same time, don't we have a few guys wavering as well?

I think we have a decent shot at Shanks. Which UT commits are wavering? First I've heard of that.

wait, so his profanity-laced 5 minute tirade against the officials after that muffed punt was "subdued"? I was highly entertained but I was surprised ESPN kept the mics on him as long as they did.

Shanks is one of those guys that UT needs to start to bulid a solid D line. He would be a huge get, hopefully our staff can get him to visit and get on him hard

Funny thing about his antics is many of the recruits/commits think it shows "fire". 3 game losing streak and none have decommitted atp. He's doing something right. :ermm:

Pender is only wavering because of Barry Sanders Jr...if he commits to FSU then MP will reopen his recruiting. Bracy is looking at LSU/Texas A&M bc of their track team.

Shanks and Pender would be nice. Then if Jacobs wants to bolt he can, though I wish he would hang in there with us.

You said it, bro. I think that recruits do look at boards like these.

ON the subject that FSU commits are "iffy" about their pledges. It makes me wonder if they way My Vols look rite now, I dont think some of FSU's Recruits will wanna jump ship to come to a TN program that looks pretty bad too. Winning gets recruits attentions, and losing bad, doesnt really make them look this way. If we get beat bad by bama and then lose to Arky and carolina, it may be tough to keep what we have now. Other teams will use our "ROUGH" year as a excuse, to lure the commits that we have now. Im just being a realist and it doesnt look good rite now for the program. Its gonna be a tough year. Just hope we can maintain what we have now. I hated that O'brien had to see TN get beat that way against LSU.

But on the other hand, we could sell playing time to alot of recruits. But we have to make sure that they understand we are a young team, and we are gonna hit bumps in the road this year. JMHO

We lost a lot of games last year and didn't lose a single recruit.
