Besides Eric Berry, which NFL rookie/former Vol are you most looking forward to seeing play in the league this year?

I'm gonna say Hardesty. I hope he gets healthy and shows some people what he can do.

Mainly Hardesty and Dan Williams. I would say Crompton but I doubt he will see the field much.

Hardesty twisted a knee couple of weeks ago so it may be the 3rd game before he sees some action. Crompton was 6-11 for 81 yards last night. Had some really nice passes. By the way new to the board. Been lurking for a while. :hi:

I believe I heard it was just for this one game. Don't hold me to that though.

I am interested to see what happens with Hardesty for sure, but also curious about McClendon's future on the Colts line.

Hardesty by far.....I just really like that he was able to have such a good year last year for us. And though he's not a rookie....Arian Foster.....should have a decent year

I'd be really happy to see Rico make the squad.

Rico played for the last 4-5 minutes in last night's game. He was around the ball or made a tackle on just about every play. The paper shows him having a tackle and an assist. I got some decent pictures of him during open practice sessions. Can't wait to see Eric come to town this week!

Since Ben Tate went down last night with an awful ankle injury AF will a ton of carries.

sorry to hear about Tate, but that's cool Foster should see good time. I don't miss him at UT, but glad to see him represent.

Found these stats on Crompton, even though someone had already posted his stats. I took it upon myself to look at the other stats in comparison:

PASSING—Chicago, Hanie 10-17-1-148, Cutler 2-2-0-47, LeFevour 2-10-0-21. San Diego, Crompton 6-11-1-81, Volek 7-14-0-77, Rivers 4-6-0-62

With some more practice and confidence...Crompdaddy will do just fine IMO

Heard on a podcast this weekend that Foster will be the #1 back in Houston with Slaton coming in to give him a blow once in a while.
Before you even think it...just don't!

As for other SEC players in the league, Greg Hardy has passed Everette Brown on Carolina's DE depth chart already. He was taken in the sixth round, and is just taking complete advantage of his opportunities in camp. I really think Hardy will get a lot of playing time this year for Carolina. Also, I'm looking forward to seeing what Eric Norwood can do.

I watched the replay last night of the Chargers game on NFL Network it's great for watching for these guys in the preseason.

Crompton had a really nice pass hit a receiver right in the hands in the endzone that should have been six.
