First off, mods, I have permission from Freak to post this although it's not directly football related.

Vol Nation,
I work as the Outreach Coordinator for a non profit in Knoxville called the Tennessee Valley Coalition for the Homeless. We serve 21 counties all over East TN and our primary focus is getting homeless veterans in to housing and getting them any help they need.

This Saturday we are having our annual Hope Gala fundraiser to raise money for the programs we offer. VFL Jayson Swain is our MC for the event and we will have a full evening of fun, food, drinks, and even an auction (complete with CBJ autographs, and a canvas painting by PM Miller -the rock artist).

I would like to ask all of Vol Nation to contribute to our cause if you are willing. Hundreds of Homeless veterans are right in our back yard and as a vet myself, I want us as Tennesseans and Americans to unite to address this issue. If you are willing to contribute, you can go to tvchomeless.org and click donate. Then under reason for donation, select "staff campaign Stephen Kasper." All money donated will go directly to helping homeless veterans in our region.

Just a suggestion, but maybe Swain and (If he knows of a few other former Vols) could sign autographs for a like maybe 5 dollar donation, that would help raise some extra money -- a few area players where I live did this at a baseball game for the same cause and it turned out pretty good
