Anytime you buy a game system that is used from an individual, you have about a 50/50 chance that it will screw up in the very near future. 125 doesnt sound too bad, but you might want to spend a little more and buy a new one to save you some headache
Dont beleive everything you hear on craigslist. Just trying to save you some headache. If it is worth the chance to buy a 125$ paperweight after a month, then by all means get it. It just sound extremely low priced and too good to be true, especially on craigslist.
Ha. I told the guy no....he countered with a PS3, two controllers, cables, and Madden 09 for $100 cash. I took it. It's in good condition. It gets overheated easily, but I've gotta buy a cooling system to go on the back of it.
So...i bought the whole thing for $100. Now, I'm going to take it to Gamestop and trade it in, because they have a deal for any PS3 console you can trade in for $200 store credit. So, I'm either going to upgrade, or get a new Xbox360 that's coming out.
I traded the PS3 in, along with two controllers. It was defective (dude sold it to me that way, just didn't know), but they still traded me it for 173 dollars (73 more than I paid for it), so I just got the brand new $200 Xbox360 with Kinect capability. I was pretty thrilled. Ended up getting it for 70-80 bucks less.
