6'5 290 and he's only a sophomore.

He could easily end up being 6'9 and 350....350 in football shape.

If he does play nasty like his dad did then holy crap he's going to hurt somebody.

Butch prays, "oh dear Lord, don't ever let these legacy kids stop coming". Butch looks like the cat who ate the canary.

All part of his master plan. That's why one of the first things Butch did after assuming the reins of Tennessee's football program was to hold an impromptu event welcoming all of Tennessee's lettermen back. He may not have a degree in genetics, but he knows quite well the depth of Tennessee's tradition and one of the best ways to perpetuate that is to annually harvest a nice crop of legacy recruits.

Not going to lie, when I first watched this video I practiced this and mastered it quickly. I wanted to impress my wife with this new trick. I didn't grab the sleeve tight enough, I was showing off so I was trying to do it faster than the video, and ended up back handing my own face. I thought she was going to die of laugher. Good times.

Awesome on the commit and is this his 14'ish year old brother? If so then Butch is surely in his ear.

Shave the pits. May get a handful of hair if you try this at home. Stay safe my friend.

Yes!. If hes half the player his daddy was hes gonna truck fools for 4 years

I remember hearing stories from our football coaches in high school that Kevin had something like 161 tackles playing nose guard his senior year at Kingston. He was a man amongst boys.

He also came back and helped with the football team some my senior year. He was a great coach, and could still lay a lick a knee brace and no pads.

FYI for those who may not frequent the recruiting forum.

Tennessee picked up a commitment from '18 TN OL Cade Mays this afternoon. He's the son of former Vol Kevin Mays.

5* RB's should start calling anytime now wanting to run behind this big kid.

I feel sorry for HS kids that have to line up against him.

If he plays like his dad our running game is going to scare people to death.

WELCOME young man, looking forward to seeing you flatten people for our footVol team!

6'5" 300# @ 14 is unbelievable. With his size, there's a good chance he won't grow as long as some young men, but he certainly isn't finished yet. My biggest concern would be keeping him in shape.

Awesome pickup, and great to see this legacy pipeline continue. How long till the late 90s kids mature?
