I was good with all these. Problem seems to be putting someone with no authority negotiating the deal. Period. That’s not WE, that’s THEM. Fan base will get on board with a reasonable hire. THEY can’t even pull that off. I was fine with Leach

The problem is we had fans mustering the troops to revolt against these coaches and actively express their displeasure by contacting them directly on social media. When that is done, it represents the fanbase, whether we like it or not

Not saying that anyone here is wrong, but it seems to me that Davenport doesn't much have a dog in this fight. I've heard people say that the mannings are in bed with the haslams. Currie clearly was. Who is Davenport in bed with here? Seems like she has been the voice of reason, I could be wrong though.

Oh we were losing regardless. So do you think we should've rolled over and accepted Schiano and went through another five years of BS?

We're at least at the point where the administration understands their money train is in serious peril and Tennessee is one of the most profitable programs in the land. It's a dumpster fire but hell idk what else could've been done differently.

Davenport is a damn idiot. That's her primary problem. She didn't give a damn about the hiring process BC it was up to Currie. The reason Davenport said anything is BC someone told her she means nothing if football revenue dries up. Football drives academics and the revenue of Knoxville which makes the city a desirable place to live and decreases crime statistics. How big an impact do you think a 20 percent loss in attendance would have on the university? Combine a 20% reduction in donations? Starting to see the picture BC dumbass Davenport just had her eyes opened to this fact.

I'm not sure she survives but she's on the right page now.
